Herb Walk at Mount Sanitas
September 18 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Useful herbs line the trails around Colorado. On this herb walk, we’ll identify and discuss the plants surrounding the Mount Sanitas trail. Herbs have been used for centuries, for everything from food to fiber, dye, soap, and medicine. You will learn to identify treasures such as plantain, gum weed, and lambsquarter, and also learn wonderful uses for them.
Moonflower Herb Festival- Austin, Texas

Moonflower Herb Fest’s intention is to gather a blend of herbalists to share their experiences with the plant medicines, healings and their magic. The goal is to help grow the local herbal community by giving others an opportunity to meet some of their local Texas herbalists. The festival will offer a diversity of classes which will appeal to both beginners and advanced plant lovers on many levels including some of the magical arts.
Healing with Food, Herbs and Essential Oils in the Bahamas with Brigitte

This 3-day workshop and intensive will be held in at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas!

In this course, you will learn to use food, herbs, essential oils, and other natural techniques for creating health and well-being through lecture, group discussion, and time in the kitchen making simple preparations. You will also experience outdoor excursions, practicing simple foraging while exploring beautiful Paradise Island and becoming adept at identifying common plants and discovering plants that are both edible and medicinal — and how to use them for their healing properties. Additional topics will include herb safety and dosages; natural first aid; stress, pain, and insomnia; and immune health. You will return home with enough knowledge to create your own natural medicine cabinet and framework for health.
